Standard Delivery- 2-3 working days
£4.95 plus VAT is the standard delivery charge for most parts of mainland UK. Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, Offshore islands, Highlands, Scottish Islands and certain areas of the UK may vary according to the size and weight of the parcel. Special delivery charges will be quoted on request. This excludes any large or heavy items. Orders placed online over £50, excluding VAT, to most parts of mainland UK qualify for free delivery. Free delivery over £50 does not apply to orders where a promotional discount has been applied.
Next Working Day Delivery
£6.95 plus VAT is the charge for next working day delivery. If orders are received, fully completed and payment taken before 3pm GMT between Monday to Thursday, we aim to deliver them the next working day. Dispatch times can vary depending on stock availability and any guarantees made as to delivery times are subject to any delays that can result from transport delays or force majeure, for which we will not be held responsible. The Seller can accept no responsibility for transport delays causing late delivery.
£19.50 plus VAT is the charge for our premium Saturday delivery. Available to UK Mainland customers only. Orders must be placed before 3pm on Friday to qualify. Not available on orders placed after 3pm on Friday through to Monday. Excludes weekends, some furniture and items sent direct from supplier.
The Seller’s policy is to dispatch goods to meet the timeframe stated for delivery. Times quoted are in good faith but shall not be binding. The Seller can accept no responsibility for transport delays causing late delivery. Some furniture orders may take up to 6-8 weeks for delivery, or up to 14 weeks for special order items. Extra handling charge may be incurred for re-dispatched parcels.
Salons Direct is not liable for delayed, missing or damaged parcels/contents if a delivery signature has not been obtained where the parcel has been left in a designated safe place at your request. If you choose to have your order delivered to a location, you deem as ‘safe’ then the liability transfers to you.
Please note, delivery addresses cannot be changed on an order by a customer once payment has been taken. We are unable to change your delivery address on orders paid by PayPal. If you wish to make amendments to your delivery once an order has been made, please speak to a member of our Customer Service Team.
Free standard delivery over £50:

Only valid on orders within mainland UK and excludes large or heavy items. Does not apply to orders where an offer code has been used, unless stated otherwise. If orders placed for next day delivery, £6.95 (plus VAT) are received, completed and payment has been taken before 4pm GMT between Monday and Thursday, we will deliver the next working day . Next day delivery is available to most parts of mainland UK only and only applies to items that are in stock. Does not apply to items sent direct from supplier, or large or heavy items.
Large and Heavy Items
Please ask for carriage charges on the following items: porcelain basins, washpoints, hydraulic chairs, barbers chairs, portable, hydraulic and electric couches, large chairs, nail stations, reception desks and other large furniture items. This list is not exhaustive.
Any furniture ordered will be delivered to front door and ground floor premises only, as drivers are not insured to take upstairs or inside of premises.
We advise that tradesmen who are booked to install items should only be arranged once in receipt of the goods.
Please note, that all electrical items are supplied with a UK 3 pin plug as standard.

Customs For Overseas Orders
When ordering goods from Hairbitz Limited for delivery outside the United Kingdom you may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once the goods reach the specified destination. Any additional charges for Customs clearance must be paid by you; Hairbitz Limited has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. If you are ordering goods from outside the United Kingdom, it is your responsibility to comply with all the laws and regulations in the country in which you are receiving the goods.
If you refuse to pay the charges levied by customs and excise, or the delivery is unsuccessful, and the goods are returned to us then you will be liable for the return shipment fees and these will be deducted from any refund due. As from 1st January 2021 there may be additional customs fees to pay for customers within the EU. These fees are levied by your local customs and must be paid directly to them in order for your goods to be released.

Prior to dispatch, non standard items such as furniture/special order items, cannot be cancelled. Cancellation after dispatch cannot be accepted.
